Freddie Freeman 3+ H/R/RBI (-105) vs. Washington Nationals

I can’t envision Miles Mikolas waking up this morning and being happy about the day ahead. He has to pitch against the Dodgers in front of his home crowd in Washington. We already saw Mikolas once this season and he gave up six runs (four earned) on six hits with three walks against the Cubs through five innings. Now he’s facing the Dodgers with the wind blowing out toward left-center field this afternoon. Fantastic (for us).

I’m taking Freeman to record 3+ H/R/RBI hitting cleanup for the Dodgers. He’s always in a great position to knock in some runs, as he’ll have Ohtani, Tucker and Betts hitting ahead of him. Mikolas struggled against both sides of the plate last season but lefties in particular tagged him for 17 of the 29 home runs he allowed. Add on a .345 wOBA and a 5.33 FIP for Mikolas against lefties and well, you get the picture. It’s not often that you see 3+ H/R/RBI that isn’t plus money, but this just goes to show the type of matchup Mikolas is in for today.

San Diego Padres over 3.5 runs (-130) vs. Boston Red Sox

A bit of a low total, in my opinion, for the Padres at Fenway Park this afternoon. They’ll take on Sonny Gray, who was abysmal in his Red Sox debut. He allowed four runs (three earned) on six hits through four innings of work against the Reds. It was warranted, as indicated by his 9.37 xERA. Today, he’ll face a Padres lineup that hits sinkers very well, with a combined .366 wOBA. The Red Sox bullpen has struggled in the early going as well, which further has me liking this team total. The Red Sox bullpen has already allowed six home runs, tied for second-most in the league.

Drake Baldwin 2+ Total bases (+100) vs. Arizona Diamondbacks

Baldwin has been red hot to start the 2026 season, logging at least a hit in six of the seven games he’s played and with two total bases in four of them. He could make it five tonight against Eduardo Rodriguez and the Diamondbacks. Baldwin has excellent numbers against lefties since coming into the league, with a .376 wOBA and a .185 ISO. He doesn’t strikeout much against them either with just a 15% K%. For as good as Rodriguez looked in the WBC and his first start, I think he has a tough time tonight with this Braves offense.
