Just like that, three more players on Survivor 50 have had their torches snuffed. With a title such as ‘The Blood Moon’, episode six was expected to provide some dramatics. Still, few could have forseen an unprecedented three-person vote out on Wednesday night. Fan favorites Kamilla, Genevieve and Colby had their dreams of becoming Sole Survivor cut short in Fiji.
Now, only 14 players remain in the quest for $1 million dollars. Let’s break down who helped and who hurt their stock the most this week on Survivor 50.

Biggest Risers
Cirie (+4)
Despite a shaky first episode, Cirie is up to her old tricks. The Survivor veteran is someone that’s always mentioned as a potential vote out, but nobody is savvy enough to make a move. Even Season 45 winner Dee, who vowed to take out Cirie, ended up being swayed by the legend during this week’s vote. Alliances with Ozzy, Rizo, Christian and Rick are all in play for Mrs. Fields as well. At this point, it’s almost impossible to envision her journey ending any time soon. With bigger immunity threats becoming impossible to ignore, Cirie just has to sit back and lay low during the early merge.
To be clear, a path towards victory isn’t exactly obvious. In a returnee cast, everyone is aware that you can’t take Cirie to the end and expect an easy win. At some point, she’ll need to utilize an advantage or unexpected alliance during the late game. For now, the five-time player has insulated herself nicely from gaining any negative attention. To make things even more enticing, Ozzy granted her his extra vote. In a season where secrets have become public knowledge, it’s an advantage that only he and Rizo are also aware of.
Aubry (+4)
Somehow, some way, Aubry is heading into the merge in a solid spot. Longtime rival Genevieve was finally vanquished, thanks to a rather fortunate tribal split. This week’s vote also served to solidify Aubry’s blossoming alliance with Christian and Rick. In fact, it was the former who ended up giving her the Billie Eilish Boomerang Idol. Now, as one of the last remaining members of Vatu, Aubry doesn’t have many natural enemies remaining on this cast.
Just to clarify, I’m not quite sold on a winning game for Aubry. She’ll need to form some strong bonds outside of her current alliance. At the moment, Chrsitian, Devens and Tiffany are the only ones she’s formed a strong connection with. Still, it’s been quite a turnaround for someone who appeared at risk of leaving during the season premiere. Perhaps Aubry finds a way to establish more trust with Coach (more on him later). The two talked about working together back on episode five, despite no tribal council for Kalo 2.0 that week. One would think that discussion hints at something important down the road…
Biggest Fallers
Coach (-3)
When it comes to players who fumbled the ball this week, there aren’t many options. With three small tribals, we didn’t get a chance to see our castaways fully interact with one another. Regardless, this was almost a disastrous, season-ending episode for Coach. The old-school legend has done a decent job of forming connections so far in this game, but we saw plenty of negative comments towards him from Dee and Emily. The Dragon Slayer attempted to throw the latter under the bus, a move that nearly backfired on him completely.
Granted, this isn’t the end of the line for Coach. Potential long-term allies in Jonathan, Chrissy and Joe await once the merge truly begins. He was also shown immediately recognizing his mistake with Dee, rather than being played as a total fool. We’ve seen past winners learn and grow as the game goes on. Not to mention it’s Coach – there’s guaranteed to be laughable moments every once in a while. It’s definitely not looking great for Mr. Wade, but don’t snuff his torch just yet. If next week’s preview is any indication, we should be getting plenty of Dragon Slayer in episode seven.
