What happened to Jock Landale? Live injury updates for Hawks vs. Magic on Wednesday 4/1/26

With 7:30 left in the fourth quarter of Wednesday’s game against the Orlando Magic, Jock Landale was replaced by Onyeka Okongwu. Landale went up for a dunk attempt but was pulled down by the shoulder while in the air. This caused him to land awkwardly on his right ankle resulting in an injury.

Landale has been ruled out for the remainder of the game.

Prior to exiting, Landale contributed eight points, a rebound and an assist in 15 minutes of action. If he’s out for an extended period of time, Mouhamed Gueye and Asa Newell would likely soak up the backup center minutes.
