What happened to Gary Trent Jr.? Live injury updates for Bucks vs. Rockets on Wednesday 4/1/26

Bucks guard Gary Trent Jr. won’t return to Wednesday’s game against the Rockets after suffering a hip contusion in the first quarter.

He was replaced by Alex Antetokounmpo with 4:32 left in the opening period.

There’s been no mention of when or how the injury occurred.

Prior to exiting, Trent contributed one steal in seven minutes of action. The Bucks are currently depleted, so Cormac Ryan would likely see more playing time if Trent remains sidelined.

Since the injury occurred before halftime, Trent is eligible for DraftKings Early Exit.
