Nikola Jokic continues stuffing the stat sheet at as great of a rate as any player in the NBA. The three-time MVP is posting averages of 27.9 points, 12.9 rebounds, and 10.8 assists per game. Expect him to dominate the boards tonight against a Jazz team that ranks 23rd in opponent rebounds allowed.
Jokic has pulled in over 13.5 rebounds in 28 of his 60 games played and has been especially dominant in this category of late. He has cleared this line in five straight games entering this matchup and eight of his last 10 games, averaging 14.7 rebounds per game across this stretch.
These two sides faced off on Friday, which resulted in Jokic pulling in 15 rebounds during the 135-129 win. Denver is still playing for playoff seeding, and the Jazz are still playing with a spark even in the late stages of the season. There is no match for the combination of Jokic’s size and rebounding skill on this Utah roster. Especially with both of these teams looking to push the pace and get plenty of offensive possessions, count on Jokic pulling in over 13.5 rebounds tonight. While the Nuggets have plenty of strengths as a team, very few fall on the defensive end. Denver ranks 20th in opponent points allowed, 21st in defensive rating, and 23rd in opponent three-point attempts allowed.
