Doncic Takes The Crown Again
I’m losing count at this point. That’s another King of the Court win for Luka Doncic, as Deni Avdija has fallen short of the mark. With a monstrous 59 total P/R/A, Luka is the winner. Congrats to his backers, you have a $20 bonus bet coming your way. Here’s a look at the final leaderboard.

Luka Sets The Mark
With a late fourth-quarter burst, Luka Doncic put his stamp on another incredible night. With 42 points, five rebounds, and 12 assists, Luka’s 59 P/R/A mark sets the bar awfully high. And it’s nothing new given his recent play.
But the Doncic backers are not out of the woods just yet. Deni Avdija has one quarter to go, and has already racked up 42 P/R/A against the Clippers. Can he put together a strong fourth and overtake Doncic? Or will the Lakers superstar wear the crown once again?
On Top, But For How Long?
What a surprise. With time to spare in the third quarter, Luka Doncic has overtaken Devin Booker for the top spot on the leaderboard. He has 31 points, four rebounds, and 10 assists already as the Lakers roll over the Cavaliers. He’s also making a bit of history along the way.
With time to spare, Doncic still has time to pile on and push past 50 P/R/A, perhaps even 60. But with the Lakers up 20+ points, the blowout looms large over his playing time. He might need every single point, as Deni Avdija has racked up 29 P/R/A at halftime against the Clippers. This one could come down to the end. Let’s see how high Luka can set the bar.
Halfway to Glory
Like clockwork, Luka Doncic remains on pace for the crown tonight. At halftime against the Cavaliers, Luka has 20 points, four rebounds, and seven assists for a total of 31 P/R/A. All he needs is another 14 to overtake Booker. But he’s got some competition.
Jarrett Allen is having a monster night for the Cavs, putting up 18 points along with four rebounds and an assist in the first half. He’d be a very unlikely winner, but he has the start you’d want. And in our Blazers-Clippers game, Deni Avdija has 10 P/R/A after the first quarter, and is always a candidate to stuff the stat sheet. Stay tuned, folks; this one could get weird.
Early Luka Takeoff
Luka Doncic is remarkably consistent in the first quarter. He’s going to play the full 12 minutes and push a P/R/A pace around 20 like clockwork. That was no different tonight against the Cleveland Cavaliers; at the end of the first, Doncic has 14 points, one rebound, and four assists.
That’s quite the torrid pace. Let’s see if he can keep it up and take the crown.
Blowout Victims
Ryan Rollins was the first to fall victim to the blowout. He was scorching with 40 P/R/A, but with the Bucks putting the hurt on the Mavericks, he sat out the final few minutes and missed the chance to take the lead. Ditto for Kevin Durant, who had 41 P/R/A against the Knicks but came up short due to the scoreboard.
Jalen Duren put forth the best effort, piling up 43 P/R/A in a Cade-less win over the Raptors. That allowed Devin Booker to barely escape, taking his lead into the late night window.
The perennial King of the Court contender, Luka Doncic, is about to tip off against Donovan Mitchell and the Cavaliers. We also have Deni Avdija and the Blazers against Kawhi Leonard and the Clippers later to close out the slate. Don’t start counting that bonus bet yet, Booker backers.
Rising Sun
Devin Booker’s 34 points, three rebounds, and seven assists weren’t enough for the Suns to get a win over the Magic. But it was enough to set the pace for our King of the Court contest. Booker beat Paolo Banchero by eight P/R/A to take command of the crown.
But he has Kevin Durant breathing down his neck. Houston’s star has 39 P/R/A heading into the fourth quarter; a blowout could save Booker, as the Rockets lead the Knicks by 20 points. Speaking of blowouts, a Hornets blowout over the Nets took LaMelo Ball and Brandon Miller out of the running. So much for those electric starts.
We have a few other guys to keep an eye on. Ryan Rollins has 33 P/R/A in the fourth quarter against the Mavs, and his teammate Kyle Kuzma has 29. Jalen Duren is sitting pretty with 32 P/R/A in the third quarter against the Raptors, while RJ Barrett has 30 opposite him. The early window frenzy is nearly over. Stay with us.
Book It
Devin Booker was not to be denied in the third quarter against the Magic. He put up a whopping 18 P/R/A in the third, bringing his total to 37 and vaulting to the top of the leaderboard. That’s given him some good distance in this game from Paolo Banchero (28) and Jalen Suggs (26).
The Hornets duo is sitting in that range as well. Brandon Miller (29) and LaMelo Ball (28) are sure putting in an effort against the Nets. We also have a few guys sitting in the halftime locker room that are on pace: Kevin Durant has 27 P/R/A against the Knicks, and Ryan Rollins has 26 against the Mavericks. RJ Barrett has also put himself in the conversation with 24 against the Pistons.
We’re close to settling our first games of the night. Don’t change the channel.
Halftime in Orlando
We’ve reached the midway point in our Magic-Suns game, and three main candidates have emerged. Jalen Suggs leads the field with 21 P/R/A, followed closely by Paolo Banchero with 19. Devin Booker put together a strong second quarter to get to 19 P/R/A as well. Desmond Bane and Wendell Carter Jr. are also in the running with 16 P/R/A apiece.
Brandon Miller and LaMelo Ball have not kept up their first-quarter pace; as that game approaches halftime, they have 21 and 19 P/R/A, respectively. Kevin Durant is now leading the charge in terms of P/R/A pace, putting up 17 in the first quarter against the Knicks. It’s a torrential pace early; let’s see who can separate themselves.
Hornets Buzzing Again
Listen closely. Do you hear that? That’s the sound of Hornets announcer Eric Collins screaming out his lungs. The Charlotte Hornets are continuing to roll, and their star players are going nuts against the Brooklyn Nets. Brandon Miller has managed 14 points in nine minutes, while LaMelo Ball piles on 12 P/R/A in the early going. It could be a long night for this Nets defense.
There’s a lot of basketball left to play in this one, but if this pace is sustained, we could see some buzzing at the top.
Magic Cooking Early
Paolo Banchero is no stranger to big performances on King of the Court day. He’s getting after it early, piling up 10 P/R/A in the first nine minutes of the game. But it’s his teammate, Jalen Suggs, leading the way early. The Magic guard has put up 14 P/R/A in the same period of time. That would net a smooth $38,400 bonus bet if he somehow keeps up this effort.
