Washington Nationals vs. Philadelphia Phillies Probable Pitchers

Cavalli’s shaky command was on full display against the Cubs on Opening Day, walking three through 3.2 innings. He’ll need to be sharp against Sanchez, who struck out 10 through six innings against the Rangers.
Colorado Rockies vs. Toronto Blue Jays Probable Pitchers

Despite pitching at Coors Field, the majority of home runs allowed by Freeland came on the road last season, with 15 of the 22. He’ll face off against Gausman, who is coming off an 11 strikeout performance through six innings against the Athletics.

Smith will look to shake off a tough start against the Brewers, who got him for four runs (three earned) on three hits through just 1.2 innings last week. He’ll face Alcantara, who seemed to get unlucky at home last season with a 4.40 ERA but a 3.88 FIP.
New York Mets vs. St. Louis Cardinals Probable Pitchers

Peralta would like to forget his Mets debut, after being tagged for four runs on six hits, including two home runs, against the Pirates. Liberatore benefitted from his defense behind him against the Rays, as he allowed just one run but owned a 6.21 FIP.
Tampa Bay Rays vs. Milwaukee Brewers Probable Pitchers

- Milwaukee Brewers: Jacob Misiorowski
- Time: 1:40 PM ET
Rasmussen was great on the road last season, sporting a 2.83 ERA with a 3.45 FIP and only six home runs allowed. He has a tough matchup against Misiorowski, who fanned 11 White Sox hitters through five innings in his first start.
Boston Red Sox vs. Houston Astros Probable Pitchers

Crochet picked up where he left off in 2025, shutting out the Reds for six innings and striking out eight. He’ll face Burrows, who didn’t exactly have the start Crochet did. Burrows allowed five runs on nine hits, including two home runs, against the Angels.
Los Angeles Angels vs. Chicago Cubs Probable Pitchers

- Chicago Cubs: Matthew Boyd

Right-handed bats were a big problem for Kikuchi last season, as they tagged him for a .336 wOBA, a 4.73 FIP, and 23 of the 24 home runs he allowed. Boyd is coming off an uncharacteristic start, in which he allowed six runs on six hits and seven strikeouts to the Nationals.
Detroit Tigers vs. Arizona Diamondbacks Probable Pitchers

- Arizona Diamondbacks: Zac Gallen

The reigning Cy Young Award winner, Skubal, went to town on the Padres, allowing just an unearned run and striking out six. Gallen, however, saw his struggles from last year creep into 2026. The Dodgers got to him early for four runs on five, including a home run.
New York Yankees vs. Seattle Mariners Probable Pitchers

- Seattle Mariners: George Kirby
- Time: 4:10 PM ET
Schlittler was fantastic on the road in 2025, posting a 2.76 ERA with a .264 wOBA and a 3.84 FIP. He’ll face Kirby, who was great at home with a 3.38 ERA with a .275 wOBA and a 3.12 FIP.
San Francisco Giants vs. San Diego Padres Probable Pitchers

- San Diego Padres: Nick Pivetta
- Time: 9:40 PM ET
Lefties were a big issue for Houser last season, as they tagged him for a .351 wOBA with a 4.86 FIP and eight of the 10 home runs last year. Everyone was a problem for Pivetta in his first start, as he allowed six runs on seven hits to the Tigers.
Minnesota Twins vs. Kansas City Royals Probable Pitchers

- Kansas City Royals: Noah Cameron
- Time: 7:40 PM ET
Ryan completely overmatched the Orioles in his first start, striking out seven through 5.1 innings and inducing a 17% swing-and-miss rate. Cameron will be an interesting one to watch this season as his 2.99 ERA looks great, but his xERA of 4.08 tells a different story.
Cleveland Guardians vs. Los Angeles Dodgers Probable Pitchers

- Los Angeles Dodgers: Yoshinobu Yamamoto
- Time: 8:20 PM ET
Williams has solid strikeout upside, but his command gets him in trouble. Last season, he ended with a 4.4 BB/9 through 167.2 innings. Yamamoto was tough against both sides of the plate last season, posting a .221 wOBA against lefties and a .265 against righties.
