UPDATE: James is available for Tuesday’s game.

The Los Angeles Lakers are in the midst of an incredible surge this month and are one of the hottest teams in the NBA. Tonight, they host the Cleveland Cavaliers for a battle between title hopefuls, but LeBron James may not suit up after being added to the injury report.

James has been listed as questionable due to injury management for his left foot. This is the second night of a back-to-back, so it may not be surprising if he’s eventually downgraded to out with the playoffs approaching.

James missed much of the early months this season due to injury but has appeared in 54 total contests since. Despite his 33.6 minutes a night being his lowest mark since the 2020-21 campaign, he still averages 20.9 points, 6.0 rebounds and 7.0 assists a game with 1.7 combined stocks. He remains an elite talent and a cornerstone piece of this Lakers roster.

The Lakers have improved to 49-26 on the year and are now third in the Western Conference picture. That surge has been fueled by a 14-2 record this month and the NBA’s fifth-best NETRTG over the same sample.

Los Angeles is listed as a 1.5-point home favorite on DraftKings Sportsbook tonight against the Cavaliers.
