2026 Miami Open prediction, pick for Jannik Sinner vs. Jiri Lehecka

The Miami Open is on to the men’s final! The final sees World No. 2 Jannik Sinner take on World No. 22 Jiri Lehecka. The match begins at 3 p.m. ET.

Sinner is a -2300 moneyline favorite on DraftKings Sportsbook, while Lehecka sits as a +1020 underdog. Let’s dive into my best bet to target for Sinner vs. Lehecka.

Jannik Sinner vs. Jiri Lehecka Preview

Jiri Lehecka has been fantastic in this Miami Open. He has played some of the best tennis of his life, making his first career Masters 1000 final. Lehecka upset a top-10 player in the world, Taylor Fritz, then took on a trio of fellow youngsters with great promise, Ethan Quinn, Arthur Fils and Martin Landaluce. While none of those players are at Jannik Sinner’s level, Lehecka has to be feeling great about his game coming into this match. While this is the biggest final of his life, Lehecka has played in some big matches. He faced Carlos Alcaraz in an ATP 500 final and made the Next Gen ATP Finals in 2022. Lehecka has absolutely nothing to lose against Sinner, which can often be a freeing feeling for a player.

Jannik Sinner has steamrolled all of his competition over the past two tournaments. Sinner walked through Indian Wells, destroying everyone in his path en route to the title. Here in Miami, Sinner once again got to avoid his only real competition, Carlos Alcaraz and Novak Djokovic. He has once again cruised to a final without dropping a set. Jannik Sinner is on an all-time run at these Masters 1000 events, having won 32 consecutive sets. Not only is he claiming titles, but he is not even being challenged on the way to those titles. Sinner won the Miami Open, but he did not get a chance to defend his title in 2025. In his mind, this would be back-to-back titles in Miami for the best hardcourt player in the world.

Jannik Sinner vs. Jiri Lehecka Pick, Best Bet

My best bet for this match is on Jannik Sinner to cover the spread of -5.5 games. This is a bet that can be found at +140, because that type of dominance in a big final is hard to come by. However, there is no reason to doubt that Sinner won’t display that level of control against Lehecka. Sinner just took down Alexander Zverev, the No. 4 player in the world. In his four other matches played in this tournament, Sinner won three of them by at least six games. He beat Frances Tiafoe 6-2, 6-2, and crushed the No. 33 player in the world, Corentin Moutet, 6-1, 6-4.

Nobody is on Sinner’s level at the moment, and Jiri Lehecka has never been competitive against him. Sinner has won all three career matchups against Lehecka. Most recently, they met at Roland Garros in 2025. Sinner won that match 6-0, 6-1, 6-2. That was supreme dominance despite the match being played on clay, which is not Sinner’s preferred surface. It’s hard to imagine any outcome in this match other than Sinner cruising to victory, so I will lay the plus-money game spread on the man that is untouchable at these Masters 1000 events.

Best Bet: Jannik Sinner -5.5 Games (+140)
