Top MLB DFS Stacks for Saturday 3/28/26

After eight games Saturday afternoon, Major League Baseball has a strong seven-game DFS fantasy baseball slate lined up to begin at 7:10 p.m. ET when the Astros and Angels start the third game of their AL West series in Houston and the Brewers and White Sox get underway in Milwaukee. With 14 teams and matchups on the board, there are plenty of different options to consider for your Saturday squad, so let’s take a look at some of the strongest offenses to build around as the day’s top MLB DFS stacks.

Before we get to the individual teams, let’s define exactly what we’re searching for. An ideal target for MLB DFS stacks is a team in a position to score plenty of runs based on its matchup and environment. “Stacking” is the strategy of including multiple players from the same MLB lineup on your roster so that they can boost each other’s production. For example, on Opening Day, the Brewers mashed 14 runs to trounce the White Sox, and their offense carried their fantasy teams to the win as well.

Ideally, MLB DFS stacks focus on players who are back-to-back or at least from the same part of the lineup to allow positive correlation. Since most run-scoring plays produce fantasy points for multiple players, stacking a high-scoring team can carry your entry to the top of the leaderboard. The key to MLB DFS stacks paying off is finding the perfect matchup to attack, so let’s take a look at Saturday’s top spots.

1. Milwaukee Brewers

William Contreras ($4,500)
Brice Turang ($4,500)
Sal Frelick ($3,900)
Andrew Vaughn ($3,200)
Jake Bauers ($2,700)

The Brew Crew has the second-highest implied run total on the board for Saturday night, and after posting 14 runs on Thursday, they get another solid matchup against Sean Burke ($6,500). Burke pitched in 28 games for the White Sox last season, working to a 4.22 ERA and 4.92 FIP. He struggled on the road, though, going 0-6 with a 4.58 ERA and 5.17 FIP on the road. He didn’t have dramatic handedness splits, but he gave up 23 homers, 12 to lefties and 11 to righties.

The Brewers lost Jackson Chourio (hand) but still have a solid lineup, especially against right-handed pitchers. Contreras and Vaughn are the righties, while Turang, Frelick and Bauers all make sense from the left-hand side. Turang starred for Team USA in the WBC, going 8-for-22 (.364) with four doubles, and he had two hits and a walk in the opener. Turang and Contreras each had a double, with the catcher tacking on three RBIs.

I highlighted Bauers in my top home run props for Saturday, and the power-hitting lefty is an excellent value play under $3,000.

2. Kansas City Royals

Maikel Garcia ($5,300)
Bobby Witt ($6,300)
Vinnie Pasquantino ($4,600)
Jac Caglianone ($4,100)
Carter Jensen ($3,800)

The Royals had to face Chris Sale in their season opener on Friday, and they managed only five hits in their 6-0 loss. They’ll have a much easier matchup on Saturday night and offer some nice options as they take on Reynaldo Lopez ($7,000). Lopez only made one start last season before undergoing shoulder surgery. He gave up eight runs in 17 1/3 innings this spring training and his velocity dropped in his last outing. He reportedly figured out the issue in his last bullpen session, though, and should be good to go. Lopez had a great year in 2024 with a 1.99 ERA and 2.92 FIP, but he may take a while to get back to that level.

The Royals will be ready to welcome him back, and the lefty-leaning lineup should be in a good spot to mash the righty after being stymied by Sale. The Royals’ lineup was a huge part of the WBC with Witt, Garcia, Pasquantino and Caglianone all showing their upside in the tournament. Throughout his career, Lopez has struggled with lefties with power, which makes a Pasquatch-Caglianone mini-stack a strong place to start.

Jensen will be an interesting value lefty to slide in as well after the 22-year-old hit .300 with a .403 wOBA last season after a call-up. He had three homers in the Cactus League and brings value upside with catcher eligibility.

3. Houston Astros

Jose Altuve ($4,300)
Jeremy Pena ($4,200)
Carlos Correa ($3,200)
Brice Matthews ($3,200)
Yainer Diaz ($3,100)

The Astros were shut out on Thursday and only managed two runs on eight hits on Friday. They’ll need to get their offense in gear for this matchup to avoid dropping three straight to the Angels to start the season, and they’ll be facing a familiar foe in lefty Reid Detmers ($6,800). Detmers is moving back to the rotation after working out of the bullpen last season. He went 5-3 with a 3.96 ERA and 3.12 FIP while piling up 80 strikeouts in 63 2/3 innings over 61 games. In spring training, he gave up seven runs on 12 hits in 11 2/3 innings, and the Astros have a good history against the lefty.

Whether you believe in Detmers’ transition back to starting or not, this will be a very tough first outing for him, making him a high-risk play and the Astros a solid option for MLB DFS stacks if they can break out. Detmers is 1-4 in his 12 career games against the Astros with a 7.83 ERA in 37 innings. He gave up one run in four innnigs against them in relief last year after giving up 20 earned runs in 8 1/3 innings in his last three starts against Houston. The Astros have scored at least four runs off Detmers in each of his last four starts against them.

Altuve is 6-for-18 with a pair of homers against Detmers in his career, Pena is 7-for-20, and Diaz is 5-for-13 with a pair of doubles. Pena didn’t play on Opening Day but went 2-for-5 with a run scored and a stolen base in his first game Friday. Matthews brings plenty of speed and a little power potential if he gets a spot in the starting lineup, and Correa seems a little underpriced given his upside on the left side of the infield as well.
