Sebastian Fundora defends his WBC Super Welterweight Championship tonight against Keith Thurman. This is Fundora’s third defense of the WBC title, as he is coming off a win against Tim Tszyu. This fight is the Main Event of tonight’s PBC Boxing card airing live on PPV beginning at 8:00 p.m. ET. The Main Event ringwalks are expected to take place at 10:30 p.m. ET.

The size difference between Fundora and Thurman is glaring. Fundora stands eight inches taller (6’5.5″ vs. 5’8.5″) and has a massive 11-inch reach advantage (80″ vs. 69″). This is Thurman’s first fight in a year, as he last beat Brock Jarvis by third-round TKO. Thurman hasn’t been very active recently, as this is only his second bout in the last six years. The lone loss of Thurman’s career came against Manny Pacquiao in July 2019.
Fundora is 23-1-1 and has won 15 fights by knockout in his career. He lost his first fight to Brian Mendoza in April 2023, but has won three straight bouts since. The defending champion is the favorite at -380 with the challenger being a +280 underdog on DraftKings Sportsbook.
Since Thurman is coming off a long layoff and there is a wide height and reach gap, I foresee Fundora dominating this contest. Fundora has won back-to-back fights by knockout, and six of his last 10 victories have come via finish.
