Check out my best bet for today’s fight between Moses Itauma vs. Jermaine Franklin.
Under 6.5 Rounds (-125)
Itauma has won nine consecutive fights by knockout and has quickly gone from prospect to contender at Heavyweight. Even though he has faced tougher competition in each fight, Itauma has still handled each one with ease. Most recently, in August 2025, Itauma knocked out Dillan Whyte in the first round.
Franklin has won three straight fights and last beat Ivan Dychko in September 2025. His two career losses came against Dillan Wyte and Anthony Joshua. In this contest, Itauma holds the height (6’4.5″ vs. 6’3″) and reach (79″ vs. 77″) advantage over Franklin.
On DraftKings Sportsbook, Itauma is a massive -2000 favorite with Franklin being a +1000 underdog. This fight has an over/under of 6.5 rounds, with the over being -110 and the under being -125. Itauma is also -320 to win this bout by KO/TKO/DQ.
Itauma has the speed and power advantage in this fight, which will most likely be the difference. In his young career, Itauma begins fights quickly and throws a high volume of punches. Since Itauma is -2000 to win this bout and -320 to win by knockout, my favorite play is to take this contest under 6.5 rounds. That is because 12 of Itauma’s 13 fights have ended in the first two rounds. Even though Franklin could take some of Itauma’s punches early, it would still be surprising if he was still able to go past six rounds.
