Arizona continued its dominant NCAA Tournament run on Thursday. The Wildcats took out Arkansas with ease, earning an impressive 21-point victory over the SEC champs. It’s the U of A’s 12th-straight win, sending the school to its first Elite Eight in 11 years.
Purdue has been on a roll as well, including a Big Ten title to close out the season. The Boilermakers barely made it out of the Sweet 16 however, needing a Trey Kaufman-Renn tip-in at the buzzer to defeat Texas. It’s the second time in three years that this program has reached the Elite Eight.
