What is Love Overboard?
Love Overboard is a reality dating show hosted by Gabby Windey — a veteran of the reality genre having appeared on shows like The Bachelorette, Dancing With The Stars and The Traitors — and produced by Call Her Daddy‘s Alex Cooper. The show takes place on a luxury yacht where singles are ready to mingle. However, it’s not all smooth seas, as contestants will have to earn access to the boat’s extravagant amenities and a group of “shipwreckers” will arrive to shake things up. And there’s always the risk of walking the plank and being thrown overboard.
Based on pre-show press and the trailer (see below) the show seems to be a mix of Love Island, Temptation Island and The Traitors, with Hulu noting that “romance ignites; alliances form; and hearts are shattered. In the end, only one couple will reign supreme.”

The singles are looking forward to the summer of their lives, but there is a catch – while four couples live a life of luxury top side, they’ll be working and living below deck as crew. And to get top side? Well, they have to break up one of the couples.
