BREAK IT DOWN:
(stats taken from DraftKings Sportsbook’s Stats Hub)
Aaron Judge 1+ Home Run (+268): Look, in no way is it shocking to see people tailing an Aaron Judge home run prop. However, it is quite weird to see Judge with odds this long to go deep. Maybe it’s a little Opening Day gift from the good people at the DraftKings Sportsbook, or maybe it’s a nod to the fact that Logan Webb has only conceded 0.55 opponent home runs per nine since the beginning of 2024. Either way, as a general rule of thumb for the next six months, if you see Judge’s home run odds at more than +250 — bet them blindly. Judge’s 210 homers across the past four seasons are 23 more than any other hitter. He had a 100th percentile barrel rate in 2025 (24.7%). Need I say more?
Rafael Devers 1+ Home Run (+507): As per usual, many of the most popular bets on tonight’s single-game slate are home run props. People love home run props. People also love Rafael Devers, who will be looking to become just the second Giants hitter to rack up 30 home runs in a campaign since Barry Bonds accomplished the feat back in 2004 — Oracle Park is not exactly the friendliest place for batters. Devers actually hit 35 bombs last season in 163 games, as he split time between San Francisco and Boston. However, though he held his own in left-on-left matchups, Devers was still a much more dangerous bat against RHPs, with a .256 ISO and a 151 wRC+ within the split. Max Fried is not exactly an ideal matchup for the slugging corner infielder.
Logan Webb 6+ Strikeouts Thrown (-203): Some of this is just a matter of innings thrown, but did you know that Logan Webb led all National League pitchers in strikeouts last season with 224? It might’ve taken me a couple guesses to get there, honestly. That said, we saw a slightly elevated version of Webb in 2025. While the elite ground ball rate remained, the veteran RHP saw his strikeout rate jump to 26.2% and his swinging strike rate bump up to 10.7% — both the highest they’ve been since all the way back in 2021. The rationale is pretty simple, too. Webb’s sinker produced just a 14.1% whiff rate in 2024, so he threw the pitch much left often in 2025, instead opting for more change-ups and sweepers. That’s how we got here. Makes a lot of sense.
3-Pick Same Game Parlay
Taking three of the most-bet player props individually is always an option, but why not roll them into a same game parlay (SGP) and get in on all the action at once? It’s a fun way to tie everything together — feel free to tag along.
