As the 2025-26 NBA regular season winds slowly to a close, much remains to be determined. The 10 postseason participants in each conference are more or less set, but every game down the stretch will matter for seeding. Plus, though the MVP race has basically been settled (late charges by Victor Wembanyama and Luka Dončić aside), there are still three more Kings of the Court to be crowned on DraftKings.
Here’s how King of the Court works: if users opt into the contest and use their King of the Court token on a player prop bet (minimum $5 wager) with -200 or longer odds, that bet will become an eligible entrant to the contest. Any user who used their token on the player who finishes with one of the three most combined points, rebounds, and assists tonight will receive a share of the $2 million prize pool of bonus bets to be paid out the next day, proportional to the number of users who used their token that player.
The bet doesn’t have to hit: for instance, if a user bets on the Denver Nuggets’ Nikola Jokić to record a triple-double (-144) and he falls shy but ends up leading all players in P/R/A, that user will still be paid out their share of the bonus bets. Regardless, hitting on a bet never hurts.
The three players with the highest P/R/A over-unders are Jokić (52.5), the Orlando Magic’s Paolo Banchero (38.5), and the Cleveland Cavaliers’ Donovan Mitchell (38.5). I’ll break down my favorite prop bets for these three players so you know where to start as you bet on the stars.
Nikola Jokić 14+ Rebounds (-103)
Jokić has fallen somewhat out of the MVP race in recent weeks as the Nuggets have struggled and his efficiency has dropped, but even a mediocre game from Jokić is brilliant output for just about any other player. He’s been especially dominant on the glass, snagging at least 14 boards in five of his last eight games and averaging 23.0 points, 13.1 boards, and 12.3 assists per game across that span. For the first time in his career, he’s now leading the league in defensive rebounds and total rebounds per game.
Jokić’s matchup tonight is a mixed bag. The Phoenix Suns have fallen off the pace as of late after looking like a potential top-six seed for much of the season. They’ve dealt with injuries to three starters since the All-Star break alone, as Devin Booker, Dillon Brooks, and Mark Williams have all missed time, and they’ve gone just 5-6 since Williams was diagnosed with a stress reaction in his foot. Without the seven-foot-one big, Phoenix has ranked just 16th in total rebounding percentage, and though it has made up for that somewhat by playing at the league’s slowest pace, Denver is a faster-than-average team, which should give Jokić just enough possessions to snag 14 boards.
Paolo Banchero U24.5 Points (-104)
After a poor first half of the season, Banchero has stepped up as of late, averaging 25.4 points per game since the All-Star break, and his efficiency (51.4% effective field goal percentage) has improved somewhat, even if his jumper is still balky. It’s just hard to trust his consistency; though he’s coming off of a 39-point performance and theoretically should see a jump in usage with Jalen Suggs out, he combined for just 36 points in his prior two games. He’s unlikely to take 27 shots again after doing so last night.
The Cleveland Cavaliers are a fairly difficult matchup for Banchero. While they haven’t been the best defensive team in the James Harden era, ranking just 18th in defensive rating since Harden made his team debut on February 7, they’ve still done a good job walling off the paint, allowing a below-average number of shots within five feet and a below-average percentage on such looks. Cleveland has mostly been beaten by opposing teams with strong shooters, and Banchero — who’s hit his triples at a rate 5.8 percentage points per 100 possessions — isn’t that. Banchero has gotten the best of 2024-25 Defensive Player of the Year Evan Mobley so far, but Mobley ranks in the 82nd percentile in points saved per 100 possessions, so I like his potential to stop Banchero in the long run.
Donovan Mitchell 35+ Points + Assists (+105)
Mitchell seemingly hasn’t adjusted very well to playing alongside Harden, as since his team debut, he’s averaged just 25.5 points and 5.4 assists per game while shooting 28.7% from beyond the arc, and he’s only reached 35 or more combined points and assists just twice in seven games this month. Thus, this pick goes somewhat against Mitchell’s recent momentum. But there’s not much reason to believe that his weak shooting performance as of late has been anything other than a product of luck, as he’s actually gotten to the rim at a higher rate than he did prior to Harden’s arrival. He’s also attempted catch-and-shoot and wide-open threes at similar rates, so as long as his shot diet remains healthy, his jumper should return eventually.
Orlando hasn’t been great defensively as of late. The Magic have lost five games in a row and posted the league’s seventh-worst defensive rating in that span. Most critically for Mitchell, though, they’ll be without Suggs, and without him, their defensive rating has slipped by 5.0 points per 100 possessions. Suggs was Mitchell’s primary defender in the teams’ first three matchups of the season, limiting him to eight points and four assists on four-for-nine shooting in 52.9 partial possessions, so he should have much more success against Jevon Carter, whose stop percentage is 2.2 percentage points lower than Suggs’.
