What happened to Nique Clifford? Live injury updates for Kings vs. Nets on Sunday 3/22/26

With 10:58 left in the Sunday’s game against the Brooklyn Nets, Nique Clifford was replaced by Malik Monk. Clifford suffered an ankle injury but there’s been no mention of how the injury occurred. He has been ruled out for the remainder of the game.

Prior to exiting, Clifford contributed seven points, four rebounds, four assists and a steal in 27 minutes.

Earlier in the game, Killian Hayes also succumbed to an injury so the backcourt is extremely thin at the moment. Monk and Devin Carter will be the biggest beneficiaries.

Since the injury occurred after halftime, Clifford is not eligible for DraftKings Early Exit.
