BREAK IT DOWN:

Jalen Brunson, 1st Points Scorer (+427): Brunson and the Knicks are at home against the Wizards at 7:30 p.m. ET. Brunson should be in a favorable spot to put up a big number against the Wizards and their shaky backcourt defense, and the public is also heavily backing Brunson as the first points scorer. Brunson has scored the first points in 12 of his 65 games this season (18.4%), the second-most of any player on the court this Sunday.
Brunson has taken the first shot in 20% of his games this season, but he has made the first basket in only one of his last 14 games, and five of his last 27. Over the last 30 games, Washington has won only 26.7% of tip-offs, which gives the Knicks a strong chance to get the first shot of the game, and Brunson has a solid chance to deliver at these favorable odds on Sunday.
Nikola Jokic Triple-Double (-118): The public also likes the chance of The Joker posting a triple-double in the early game, when his Nuggets host the Trail Blazers. Denver beat the Sixers and Raptors in two home games this past week, and it’s expected to get Peyton Watson back in the rotation on Sunday. Jokic has posted 27 triple-doubles in his 55 starts (49%) this season. He was one assist short of a triple-double in the first meeting between these teams on Halloween and he had 32-9-7 in the rematch in February. Both those games were in Portland, but Sunday’s game will be in Denver, where Jokic had 22 points, nine assists and eight rebounds against the Raps on Friday.
Devin Booker 25+ Points (-154): Booker and the Suns host the Raptors in the late game this Sunday, and Booker is getting plenty of attention for this alternate scoring line of 25+ points. Booker only had 14 points against the Bucks and 22 points against the Spurs in his two games earlier this week, but he’ll look to bounce back at home against the Raptors. Before his two down games, he had 25+ points in eight straight, averaging 33 points per game. He will look to shake off his shooting slump and return to form in the final game of the night.
