Friday morning, Shams Charania from ESPN reported that five-time NBA Champion Dennis Rodman would be the latest inductee in the 2026 WWE Hall of Fame class. This year’s WWE Hall of Fame induction ceremony will take place on Friday, April 17, at Dolby Live in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Check out more information below on the latest inductee and information for the 2026 Hall of Fame.
Rodman’s history in wrestling
In 1997, Dennis Rodman appeared on WCW’s Monday Nitro, which at the time rivaled WWE’s Monday Night Raw. At Uncensored, a PPV event for WCW, Rodman joined the nWo, one of the most influential and greatest groups in professional wrestling history. Rodman went on to appear on WCW programming until 1999 and even had three matches in the promotion.
Although Rodman never appeared in WWE, the company is honoring him for his contributions in WCW. WWE purchased WCW in 2001, which ended the rivalry between the two companies.
Who else is in the WWE HOF 2026 Class?
Rodman joins a stacked 2026 Hall of Fame class that already includes Stephanie McMahon, AJ Styles, and Demolition. Over the years, WWE has inducted celebrities into the Hall of Fame, including Mike Tyson, Donald Trump, Mr. T, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Snoop Dogg, and Kid Rock, among others.
