The WWE is back in North Carolina for an episode of Friday Night SmackDown on March 20. This is their first SmackDown in the Lenovo Center in Raleigh, North Carolina, since July 2023, and they were last there for Monday Night Raw in September 2025. Including this week, there will be five more episodes of SmackDown before WrestleMania 42 on April 18-19.

WWE Tag Team Championship Match: The MFTs (c) vs. Damian Priest & R-Truth
The MFTs have held the WWE Tag Team titles for nearly two months but have yet to defend them. Two weeks ago, Damian Priest and R-Truth reunited and became the No. 1 contenders for the Tag Team titles. Since the MFTs storyline is still underway with Wyatt Sicks, it seems like they will retain the titles in this match on the road to WrestleMania 42.

WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship Match: The Irresistible Forces (c) vs. The Bella Twins
For the second straight week, The Irresistible Forces will defend their Tag Team titles. Last week, The Bella Twins interrupted their match with Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss, leading to this week’s match on SmackDown. I believe this match will end the same way it did last week by disqualification, but this time, Flair and Bliss will cost the Bellas their match.

Singles Match: Drew McIntyre vs. Jacob Fatu
Drew McIntyre and Jacob Fatu have been going back and forth for a long time and seem to be heading to a showdown at WrestleMania 42. First, Fatu interfered in McIntyre’s match, and then the former champion did the same to him last week. I don’t see either guy taking a clean pin as they will save it for Mania.
