With 2:28 left in the second quarter of Thursday’s game against the Philadelphia 76ers, Malik Monk was replaced by DeMar DeRozan. Monk suffered a shoulder injury and is done for the night. There’s been no mention of when or how the injury occurred.
Prior to exiting, Monk contributed four points, a rebound and five assists in 16 minutes of action off the bench.
Killian Hayes would likely be the biggest beneficiary with Monk out.
Since Monk exited the game prior to halftime, he will be eligible for DraftKings Early Exit.
