The 12-seed High Point Panthers upset the 5-seed Wisconsin Badgers on Thursday, 83-82, for the first NCAA Tournament win in school history. Wisconsin led for 84% of the game, but High Point had 16 fastbreak points to only five for the Badgers, with the most important two coming with 12 seconds left in the game.
The 4-seed Arkansas Razorbacks easily dispatched of the 13-seed Hawaii Rainbow Warriors, 97-78. Arkansas had 24 more points in the paint, 11 more assists and 11 more fastbreak points.
The Razorbacks and Panthers will meet on Saturday with tipoff TBD.
