Who is Dinosaurus?
This anthropomorphic dinosaur was originally a regular human by the name of David Anders. But now, whenever Anders becomes bored, Dinosaurus emerges.
Dinosaurus reverts back to human form on occasion, but the Anders personality is far less present throughout the Invincible comics.
Dinosaurus is an ends-justify-the-means type of character. As the world deals with the litany of Viltrumite-related issues, he believes taking radical action is the only road to humanity’s recovery.
But in doing so, he ruffles the feathers of many in Invincible’s universe.
What are Dinosaurus’ abilities?
In the Dinosaurus form, he possesses unworldly intelligence, as well as superhuman durability, strength and reflexes.
He’s also got talons and a T-Rex-like head.
Invincible vs. Dinosaurus
Things didn’t start smoothly between Invincible (aka Mark Grayson) and Dinosaurus. Given Invincible has taken on his dad, among others, to save as many people as possible on multiple occasions, it’s only fitting that he didn’t care for Dinosaurus at first.
But when I tell you this character changes Mark Grayson, that is not an exaggeration in the slightest.
Invincible’s blind fury shifted to respect, and it has a massive ripple effect across his universe.
Is Dinosaurus a hero or villain?
Most would call him a villain. It’s hard to imagine even his allies would label him a hero.
That said, it truly depends on who you ask and at what point in the greater Invincible timeline you ask the question.
