Prairie View A&M won its first-ever NCAA tournament game on Wednesday, defeating Lehigh 67-55 in the First Four. It certainly doesn’t get easier for the Panthers in the First Round of the tournament, playing the reigning National Champions and #1 seed Florida Gators.
The Gators open as a massive 33.5-point favorite on DraftKings Sportsbook, with Prairie View A&M listed at +5000 on the moneyline. The points total is set at O/U 156.5.

The Gators finished the season with a 26-7 record and fell short in the SEC Tournament, losing to Vanderbilt in the semifinals. Despite that loss, the committee still saw them as one of the four best teams in the country coming into March Madness. The Gators were on a heater before that loss to the Commodores, winning 12 straight games.
Prairie View A&M got into the Big Dance due to winning the Southwestern Athletic Conference tournament. It wasn’t a good regular season for the Panthers, but they performed when it mattered and got hot in their conference tournament.
March Madness has already been a success for Prairie View A&M, winning its first tournament game in school history. Things are about to get much, much tougher for them as they face one of the juggernauts of college basketball.
