Best NHL props for Wednesday 3/18/26

Jack Hughes Anytime Goalscorer (+140)

Hughes logged his second hat trick of the season in his last meeting against the Rangers on Mar. 7. Jonathan Quick started that game, and he is the expected starter for New York tonight. Add those two points together, and we’re likely looking at one or more goals from Hughes again tonight. Hughes has scored in three of his past five outings and ranks second on the Devils in 5v5 goals per 60. As for Quick, he ranks 74th out of 93 eligible goaltenders in goals saved above expected and is 5-15-2 across 22 starts this season.

Tim Stutzle 1+ Assist (+100)

Stutzle has notched at least one assist in five of the past nine outings since returning from the break and leads the team in assists (40) and 5v5 assists (20). Tonight, he’ll face a strong goaltender in Logan Thompson, but the Senators have been rolling since returning from the break, posting a 6-1-2 record, while averaging 3.8 goals per game. Stutzle has totaled six assists across his past four meetings against the Capitals, too.

Wyatt Johnston 3+ Shots on Goal (+105)

While Johnston has missed this mark by just one in four of his past seven outings, tonight is a good bounce-back spot. The Avalanche don’t allow a ton of shots, but tonight’s tilt should be a slugfest that features many goals, and in order to score goals, you gotta shoot the puck. Plus, a majority of those misses were at home, and Johnston has fared better when playing on the road this season. He has cleared 3+ SOG in three of the past four road outings, while averaging 5.5 shot attempts per game. It also helps that Johnston has scored in each of the past three games, so he should be looking to put the puck on net as often as possible.
