Ahead of the Valspar Championship on Thursday, Bhatia has withdrawn from the event Wednesday, due to a reason that has yet to be announced.
Bhatia just competed in the TGL last night, helping his team the Jupiter Links Golf Club secure a win, so the 24-year-old withdrawing from the Valspar Championship the next day comes as a surprise.
Bhatia is in the midst of an excellent season on the PGA TOUR and was one of the favorites for the Valspar Championship. The lefty has produced three top-10 finishes in his last five starts, most notably with a win at the Arnold Palmer Invitational earlier this month. This was a Signature Event and Bhatia currently ranks third in the FedEx Cup Standings.
With Bhatia withdrawing, Matthew Fitzpatrick ($9,800) and Jacob Bridgeman ($9,600) are naturally going to see more ownership as high-end DFS options for this week on DraftKings.
