While Tom Holland’s Spider-Man has appeared in many Marvel films over the years, this is the fourth official Spider-Man movie in the MCU. Most recently, Holland’s Spider-Man enlisted the help of Doctor Strange and two other Spider-Men, Andrew Garfield, and Tobey Maguire, in Spider-Man: No Way Home. Spider-Man: Brand New Day will follow the events of this film, in which the whole world has forgotten that Peter Parker is Spider-Man, including his girlfriend MJ (Zendaya).
Some of the fan favorites from the first three films will return for this entry. However, two major players in the MCU will also feature in this film: The Punisher (Jon Bernthal) and Bruce Banner/The Hulk (Mark Ruffalo). This will be the last Marvel movie before the December release of Avengers: Doomsday. So, there are likely to be some massive moments both in this movie and in the post-credits sequences, setting up what is to come in the first Avengers film since Avengers: Endgame.
