NBA Best Bets: Magic vs. Thunder Prop Bets for Tuesday 3/17/26

The Magic are hosting the Thunder on Tuesday. On DraftKings Sportsbook, Oklahoma City is favored by 9.5 points and this game carries a total of 223.5 points.

Let’s dive into three of my favorite player prop bets for Tuesday’s matchup between the Magic and the Thunder.

Best Magic vs. Thunder Player Prop Bets on DraftKings Sportsbook

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander U 32.5 Points (-123)

While Jalen Williams (hamstring) remains out, this 32.5-point line feels too high for Gilgeous-Alexander tonight. Gilgeous-Alexander has stayed under 32.5 points in four of the seven he has played without Williams since the All-Star break.

Just this past Sunday night, Gilgeous-Alexander scored only 20 points across 33 minutes vs. the Timberwolves. Another concern is this matchup. The Magic are playing their second game in two nights, but they have been much improved on defense since the All-Star break, ranking fifth in defensive rating. Orlando also ranks 19th in pace over this time. Jalen Suggs, who is an elite on ball defender, should see plenty of time on Gilgeous-Alexander, and him falling short of this high scoring line feels likely.

Luguentz Dort U 7.5 Points (-110)

Dort has been quiet recently, falling short of 7.5 points in six of his last 10. Over this time, Dort’s shooting has been horrible, shooting 27% from the field and 26% on three pointers. Furthermore, his usage ranks 12th for the Thunder at 14.9% and in his most recent game, Dort logged a season-low 17.4 minutes Sunday vs. the Timberwolves, despite no foul trouble or injuries.

Dort will likely see more work tonight, but his playing time taking a dramatic dip Sunday is notable and he should have a modest scoring outing vs. this tough Magic defense. Orlando is giving up the fewest made three-pointers this season, which doesn’t bode well for Dort, as 65% of his points have come via three-pointers this season.

Paolo Banchero O 8.5 Rebounds (-118)

Banchero is having his best season to date on the glass. The Duke product is averaging a career-high 8.6 rebounds on 13.3 rebound chances per game. Banchero has grabbed at least 10 rebounds in seven of his 13 starts since the All-Star break and this is a strong matchup, as the Thunder are giving up the sixth-most rebounds this season.

Banchero should see big minutes tonight as the Magic look to bounce back after losing to the Hawks last night. Orlando had won seven in a row before this, and Banchero should finish with a large amount of rebounds.
