The UEFA Champions League Round of 16 continues as Galatasaray will travel to England to take on Liverpool on Wednesday.
A Mario Lemina header in the first leg of this matchup is the difference between the sides as Galatasaray takes a 1-0 lead to Anfield for the second leg.

In terms of odds to advance to the quarterfinals, Liverpool are a huge favorite at -280, while Galatasaray are listed at +215.

This bet can be found under the “Match Parlays” tab. These teams have now met up twice this season, with Galatasaray winning 1-0 on both occasions. Both of those games, however, have taken place in Turkey.
It will be a much different scenario under the lights at Anfield on Wednesday. Arguably the hardest place to go in Europe in the Champions League knockout phase is Anfield, especially when the home crowd sniffs a comeback. The Turkish side only have a one-goal advantage heading into this second leg, and while they do have something to cling on to, I doubt it will be enough.
Due to both of these previous games being low-scoring between the teams, I will also be taking the under and for that trend to continue. Liverpool should win this, and ultimately, I think they will also advance to the next round.
The Reds have won three of their four home games in the Champions League so far this season, while Galatasaray have struggled mightily on the road, losing four out of their five away matches so far in this European campaign.
Although it was a valiant effort in the first leg and the Turkish side have plenty of quality players, I don’t think they are quite at the same level as Liverpool when they are taken away from their significant home field advantage in Istanbul. The Reds will win the game, and I’m banking on under 3.5 goals to hit for the third consecutive match between these familiar foes.
