Tuesday’s featured NBA DFS slate offers up six games between 12 different teams. Big names such as Cade Cunningham ($11,300), Shai Gilgeous-Alexander ($11,000) and Donovan Mitchell ($9,800) are all expected to take the floor. Still, it’s impossible to roster a lineup exclusively filled with superstars. Finding some under the radar bargains could make all the difference for fantasy managers tonight.

PG/SG Coby White, Charlotte Hornets vs. MIA ($4,800)
Among the many reasons behind Charlotte’s midseason turnaround, depth deserves a mention. A once top-heavy roster has done a nice job adding proven veterans to its bench. That includes a trade deadline move to acquire Coby White. The former Bulls standout has seen his minutes total decrease with the Hornets. However, he’s been quite effective as a microwave scorer. Over his last ten games, White is averaging 13.8 points, 3.4 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game (24.3 FPTS).
Granted, White’s ever-changing playing time can make him risky to back on some nights. Still, high upside isn’t a bad thing, especially at a sub-$5,000 price tag. It helps that the Heat operate at the nation’s fastest pace on offense. That could turn this Southeast Division showdown into a potential shootout. Miami is giving up the fifth-most fantasy points to opposing point guards this season as well. If White logs at least 20 minutes, he should make a notable impact in this one.
SF/PF Keon Ellis, Cleveland Cavaliers at MIL ($4,600)
James Harden garnered all the headlines, but the Cavaliers have made several other trades this season. That includes shipping off De’Andre Hunter in exchange for Dennis Schroeder ($4,200) and Keon Ellis. The latter is known more as a defensive specialist, making him an uninspiring fantasy option. Through 59 games this season, Ellis has recorded 6.2 points, 1.8 rebounds, and 1.2 steals ( FPTS). With numbers such as those, it’s difficult to get too excited.
With that being said, Ellis is beginning to earn some trust on his new club. The Cavs have given the wing at least 26 minutes in each of his last four appearances. During that time, he’s accounted for 14.3 points, 3.5 rebounds, 0.8 steals and 1.0 blocks (25.3 FPTS). Tonight, Cleveland takes on one of the NBA’s worst defensive units in Milwaukee. The Bucks have coughed up the 13th-most points per game (116.1) to opponents. To boot, they’ve allowed the third-most fantasy points to small forwards. Another 20+ fantasy point performance wouldn’t come as a surprise for Ellis on Tuesday.
SG Duncan Robinson, Detroit Pistons at WAS ($4,100)
If the Pistons are going to make an NBA Finals run, they’ll need stellar play from Duncan Robinson. The team’s best shooter has transformed this offense, bringing much-needed floor spacing to Motown. Over 65 matchups, the 31-year-old has posted 11.9 points, 2.7 rebounds and 2.0 assists (21.2 FPTS). In addition, he’s shooting a team-leading 40% from three-point range. Unfortunately, the veteran’s fantasy value is tied almost entirely to his scoring. Backing Robinson on an off night can be costly.
To get into a proper shooting rhythm, it helps to have wide-open shots. In that regard, Robinson should have ample opportunity to contribute this evening. The Wizards are an atrocious club, especially on defense. They’ve surrendered 13.7 three-pointers made per game, ninth-most in basketball. Robinson comes into this one having notched 20+ fantasy points in four of his previous six games. A similar, if not better, showing would make him a clear value tonight at $4,100.
