This bet can be found under the “Match Parlays” tab. The first leg of this matchup was as one-sided as it gets. Bayern Munich dominated Atalanta on the road, winning 6-1. They had 69.2% possession, 14 more shots and 10 more shots on target in a dominant win. That game has set them up to coast their way to the quarterfinals in this second leg.
Even though they have no motivation to win with such a big lead, I think Bayern will respect the competition and put out a decent side and a strong showing.
Bayern have won all four of their home Champions League games so far this season, conceding two goals and keeping two clean sheets. On the flip side, Atalanta have lost three of their five away games, failing to score in all three of those losses.
Bayern are clearly the better team here, and with a healthy nine-point lead in their domestic league they can afford to play their best players in this one, even though they have essentially already advanced. I expect the German side to continue their momentum in this competition and keep a clean sheet in the process.
