What happened to Brandon Williams? Live injury updates for Mavericks vs. Pelicans on Monday 3/16/26

UPDATE: Williams will be eligible for DraftKings Early Exit.

In the third quarter of Monday’s game vs. the Pelicans, Brandon Williams was ruled out for the remainder of the game due to a head injury. According to the Mavericks, he was hit on the side of the head.

Prior to exiting, Williams played five minutes, recording an assist. It’s a disappointing night for the guard as his streak of 14 straight games with double-digit points comes to an end. On the season, he is averaging 13 points, 3.8 assists and 3.0 rebounds per game.

Dallas has a day off on Tuesday before hosting the Hawks on Wednesday.
