The Hawks are putting Hotlanta back on the map with their recent scorcher, rattling off nine consecutive wins and showing tremendous growth in the process. This evening at 7 p.m. EST in Atlanta, the Orlando Magic come to town with a seven-game winning streak that’ll put both of these Eastern Conference squads to the test.

On DraftKings Sportsbook, Atlanta enters as a 3.5-point favorite at home with -155 odds to win on the Moneyline. The game total is set at 231.5 combined points.

Here are the top Magic vs. Hawks prop bets on DraftKings Sportsbook for this Monday night matchup.

Best Magic vs. Hawks player prop bets

Paolo Banchero over 24.5 points (-124)

The Magic have been dealing with injuries to two of their three leading scorers while Franz Wagner and Anthony Black both remain sidelined. While Paolo Banchero was good through much of the season but fell short of matching last year’s production, he’s looked much more like the previous version of himself since the All-Star break while shouldering the load for his team.

Banchero averages 22.3 points with 8.6 rebounds and 5.0 assists this season, shooting 46.4% overall and 30.8% from deep on the year. However, he’s on a heater in recent weeks with an improved 25.5 PPG since the break, shooting 49.6% from the field (to go along 9.1 boards and 5.8 assists). We’re focusing on that scoring here, especially given his run of form. The star forward has notched at least 25 points in eight of his 13 appearances since the break, coming up just shy with 24 points in another one of those. While he’s finishing at a 51.3% clip specifically on two-point attempts this year, he’s bumped that mark to 54.5% since the break. One more aspect that’s fueling his surge is his ability to get to the charity stripe, and he’s shooting an improved 82.1% on those free throws over this sample.

With a 27.3% usage rate, the ball is typically in Banchero’s hands. He’ll get plenty of work once again this evening and gets a matchup with a Hawks defense that allows 116.6 PPG to opponents, though they’re first in DEFRTG since the break. Still, the star forward should run the show with another big night in the scoring column.

Jalen Johnson under 10.5 rebounds (-143)

The Hawks’ breakout star Jalen Johnson is one of the NBA’s most versatile players, averaging 23.0 points with 10.4 rebounds and 8.0 assists per game. He’s an incredible talent and finally shining as the centerpiece of this roster, though the team did manage to secure a pair of its wins during this streak without him.

Johnson’s prowess on the glass makes him a valuable weapon even at just 6-foot-8, and his 10.4 boards a game rank seventh in the entire league. He’s no stranger to securing double-digit boards on a regular basis, but I feel like tonight’s a spot in which we should fade the forward. The Duke product has stayed under 10.5 rebounds in six consecutive games since returning from his brief injury absence as well as in seven of his nine healthy showings since the All-Star break.

Beyond the lofty line and the recent results, Orlando is generally a good unit on the glass. The Magic rank 10th in REB% and 14th in rebounds per game. They don’t drag the pace down as much as they used to, but games against them often turn into defensive slugfests with lower scoring totals. With Banchero and Wendell Carter Jr. in the frontcourt, there’s reason enough to take the under on 10.5 boards for Johnson.
