Let’s dive into three of my favorite player prop bets for Monday’s matchup between the Clippers and Spurs.

Darius Garland O 31.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-106)
Garland has been excellent so far with the Clippers and he should have a big performance with Kawhi Leonard (ankle) doubtful. The forward got hurt in the second half of Saturday’s loss to the Kings and was only available for one minute of the fourth quarter. With Leonard basically absent for that final period, Garland put up 13 points and three assists in that quarter alone. For the game, the guard finished with 25 points, seven assists and three rebounds in 30 minutes.
Garland has played 65 minutes with Leonard off the floor and in those minutes, Garland is handling a 31.3% usage rate and a 35.6% assist rate. The Spurs rank third in defensive rating this season, so this is a tough matchup, but with around 30 minutes of work tonight, Garland should clear 31.5 PRA in Leonard’s absence. On a per 30 minute basis, Garland is averaging 23.6 points, 7.3 assists and 2.7 rebounds with Leonard off the floor.
Victor Wembanyama O 2.5 Made Three-Pointers (+102)
Wembanyama has been efficient and aggressive from deep as of late. In his last five, Wembanyama is averaging 4.8 made three-pointers on 9.8 attempts per game, resulting in an elite 48.7% three-point percentage. The center has knocked down at least four treys in four of these fives games, including a career-high eight made three-pointers vs. the Celtics last Tuesday.
It appears Wembanyama hoisting up more threes has been a part of the Spurs’ game plan and this matchup vs. the Clippers is a great spot for him to stay hot from downtown. This season, Los Angeles is allowing the seventh-highest three-point percentage in the league (36.7%).
Harrison Barnes U 8.5 Points (-119)
Since the All-Star break, Barnes has handled a decreased role for the Spurs. The veteran ranks eighth for the team in playing time with just 19.9 minutes per game off the bench and he ranks 13th in usage rate at 13.5%. Barnes is only averaging 7.6 PPG over this stretch and he has stayed under 8.5 points in six of his eight games.
While the Clippers’ defense is going to be weaker than usual with Leonard sidelined, 8.5 points is too high of a line for Barnes and he shouldn’t be much of a factor in this matchup.
