There will be eight games tonight across the NBA, tipping off at 7 PM EST between the Hawks and the Magic and concluding with the Spurs visiting the Clippers at 10 PM EST for a rematch.
There are plenty of opportunities to get involved in the action this evening. One of the more unique features on DraftKings this year is Pick6 Fantasy Basketball!
This article will look at my top Pick6 plays for tonight’s slate. We simply choose whether a player will record more or less of the set statistic. Here are my favorite plays for tonight’s action.
Bennedict Mathurin More Than 21.5 Points
The Spurs’ defense currently sits at 118 DEFRTG over their last five games, which is a far cry from their 110.5 DEFRTG on the season. They’ll get back into shape eventually, but I’m expecting Mathurin to take advantage of the currently slacking Spurs’ defense. With Kawhi Leonard doubtful tonight, Mathurin will have an excellent opportunity to hoist up plenty of shots. The newly acquired Clipper is sitting on 20.4 PPG in his last five games, and he’s already hit 22 points recently vs. this team.

Jrue Holiday More Than 16.5 Points
Holiday is averaging 17.2 PPG in his last 20 games, and just dropped 25 points in Portland’s recent win over the Utah Jazz. His matchup tonight, the Brooklyn Nets, sits near the bottom in defensive efficiency. The Nets’ recent games show how easily their paint and transition defense get cracked open. The Nets will be without many starters tonight, again, and we can expect a relatively easy path for Holiday to get going offensively.

Donovan Clingan More Than 14.5 Points
Clinganโs scoring ceiling is quietly tied to how easy the rim feels. Currently, Portland is actively leaning into his roll-and-finish game. Clingan just went for 21 points and 14 boards against Utah, and followed that with a double double against the Sixers.
The Nets’ defensive profile is appealing for opposing bigs. They’re boasting bottom tier defensive efficiency and have been especially vulnerable in the paint lately, where Clingan thrives. The young center will muscle his way past 14.5 tonight with seals, dump offs, offensive boards, dunks, layups, and free throws.
