Kevin Vallejos suffered the first loss of his MMA career to Jean Silva on his first appearance on Dana White’s Contender Series in September 2023. But since then, Vallejos has gone undefeated and appears like a future title contender at 24 years old.
Emmett, the former Interim title challenger, is in desperate need of a victory in order to start one last run. Because at 41 years old, the end is near for Emmett, especially if he cannot get back on track. Emmett has been in the UFC for a decade and has faced a ton of the toughest competition at 145 pounds. But he is over two years removed from his last victory when he beat Bryce Mitchell in December 2023. The Team Alpha Male product last fought Yossef Zalal in October 2025 at UFC 320.
On DraftKings Sportsbook, Vallejos is a massive -500 favorite while Emmett is a +410 underdog. This fight’s over/under is set at 3.5 rounds, with both sitting at -115. Vallejos is -135 to win by finish, while Emmett is +700 to pick up a victory by submission or knockout.
In this contest, Vallejos is taller by one inch while Emmett has a two-inch reach advantage (70″ vs. 68″). Both fighters do their best work on the feet, and statistically, it isn’t very close. Vallejos lands over two more significant strikes per minute (5.78 vs. 3.72) while being 11 percent more accurate (46% vs. 35%) than Emmett. It is unlikely that Emmett will be able to stand and strike with Vallejos for a long period of time. Yes, Emmett does have legit power, but Vallejos can avoid those punches with his athleticism.
