James “Jazza” Dickens is facing Anthony Cacace in the Main Event of Saturday’s boxing card by Queensberry Promotions. This card is taking place at the 3Arena in Dublin, Ireland, the home country of Cacace, who is Irish and from Belfast.
Cacace enters this fight with a 24-1 record and nine knockouts and is on a nine-fight winning streak. His lone career loss came against Martin Ward in July 2017. Cacace is a former IBO and IBF Super Featherweight Champion and is now attempting to capture the WBA title at 130 pounds.
But he is taking on Dickens, who is 36-5 with 15 wins by knockout. Since losing to Hector Sosa in July 2023, Dickens has won four consecutive bouts, with three coming by KO/TKO. Dickens beat Albert Batyrgaziev in his last fight to win the Interim WBA title. On DraftKings Sportsbook, Cacace is the favorite at -260 while Dickens is a +200 underdog.
In the co-main event, Pierce O’Leary takes on Maxi Hughes for the Vacant IBO Super Lightweight Championship. O’Leary enters this bout with an undefeated 18-0 record with 10 knockouts, as Hughes is 29-8 with six knockouts in his career. Hughes is a former IBO Lightweight Champion, but is now 3-3 in his previous six fights. O’Leary, the Dublin native, is a -215 favorite in this contest with Hughes being +170.
