Best NHL props for Thursday 3/12/26

Jason Zucker Anytime Goalscorer (+210)

The 34-year-old ranks 16th in the NHL in 5v5 goals per 60, and he has netted at least one goal in each of the Sabres’ past five home games. Head coach Lindy Ruff may have found something in Buffalo’s third line, comprised of Zucker, Ryan McLeod and Jack Quinn. Among offensive lines, it ranks eighth in xGoals and is tied for the fifth-most goals. The Sabres have won eight straight games and will face a tired Capitals squad that will likely start Charlie Lindgren, who boasts a poor 3.41 GAA and .881 SV%. Across his past six starts, Lindgren sports a 4.2 GAA, while the Sabres have averaged 5.3 goals per game across their last six outings.

Cutter Gauthier OVER 3.5 Shots on Goal (-130)

Nobody in the NHL averages more 5v5 shot attempts per 60 than Gauthier, and no team allows more shots on goal than Toronto. He has averaged 7.1 shot attempts per game across eight outings since the break and has cleared this line in five of his past six outings. The Maple Leafs have particularly struggled against opposing right wingers, allowing 6.6 shots per game to the position, the most in the NHL. Toronto hasn’t won a game since Feb. 3, and has allowed 34.4 shots per game across its past eight outings.

Viktor Arvidsson OVER 0.5 Points (+110)

Arvidsson leads the Bruins in 5v5 points across the club’s last 10 outings, and he draws a good matchup against a Sharks team that ranks 31st in 5v5 goals against per 60. He has notched two multi-point games across his past four outings and at least one point in 13 of his past 20 outings. Plus, the Bruins have won 14 straight games at TD Garden, and it’s hard to see their strong play slowing down against the Sharks. Arvidsson ranks third on the team in 5v5 goals per 60, second in 5v5 assists per 60 and second in total 5v5 points, only behind David Pastrnak.
