Thursday presents a nine-game NBA slate. Let’s take a look at three of my favorite player prop bets for Thursday’s slate on DraftKings Sportsbook.
Top NBA player prop bets
Quentin Grimes O 4.5 Rebounds (+116)
With the 76ers understaffed, Grimes has been starting and playing a big role. In his last four, Grimes is logging 33.6 minutes per game and he has grabbed at least five rebounds in three of these four contests. Joel Embiid (oblique), Tyrese Maxey (finger) and Paul George (suspension) will all be out for the third game in a row tonight vs. the Pistons and with this trio missing, Grimes is averaging 8.5 rebound chances per game.
With those starters sidelined, Grimes is guaranteed 30+ minutes barring a huge blowout and he is a great bet for this over at this appealing +116 price. In the last 10 Grimes has cracked the 30-minute mark, he is averaging 5.3 rebounds per game.
Jalen Green O 28.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-105)
Green is healthy again after nursing a hamstring injury for most of the season and he has been excellent recently. In his last three, Green is averaging 24.7 points, 4.3 rebounds and 3.3 assists in 31.1 minutes per game, and he has posted at least 30 PRA in all of these tilts.
Dillon Brooks (hand) missed all these games and will remain out tonight. With the veteran sidelined, Green is leading the Suns with a 33.5% usage rate and he is shooting 46.4% from the field in these past three. Green is facing a tanking Pacers team tonight that ranks seventh in pace and 24th in defensive rating this season, and he should stay hot in this plus spot.
Cooper Flagg U 22.5 Points (-117)
Flagg is averaging 20.7 PPG this season and he has been rusty since returning from a near month absence due to a foot injury. Flagg has played in four straight games and he is only averaging 17 PPG during this time, while shooting 33% from the field and a dreadful 18% from beyond the arc. His largest output during this four-game stretch has been 18 points.
Flagg gets the benefit of playing the depleted Grizzlies tonight, who could be down to only eight healthy players. Klay Thompson (doubtful, rest) is also expected to be out for the Mavericks. While these are boosts for Flagg, this 22.5-point line still feels aggressive for the rookie right now. Flagg has played four games without Thompson this season and Flagg is averaging right at this line with 22.7 PPG on those occasions.
