On one side are the Cleveland Cavaliers, who hit the 40-win mark last night and have shown new life since acquiring James Harden back around the trade deadline. On the other side are the Orlando Magic, riding a four-game winning streak into this home game.

Jaylon Tyson 3+ made threes (+215)
Is this a little bit of a longer shot? Yes, but we’re looking at +215 odds on 3+ made threes for a Cavaliers standout who’s looked pretty darn good from beyond the arc as of late. Jaylon Tyson is one of the league’s underrated role players, averaging 13.5 points and 5.2 rebounds with a 49.8% FG% and 45.7% 3P%. While not a star by any mans, the 23-year-old is in the midst of a breakout in his second NBA season and has become a key contributor on this Cleveland roster.
Specifically, we’re targeting his 3PM prop tonight because of his recent form. Tyson’s volume of 4.6 3PA per game isn’t exactly comparable to that of the league’s elite snipers, but he’s undeniably efficient with the looks he gets and is back to hitting those shots from deep at his usual clip after a brief slump. Over his last five games, Tyson has made an average of 3.4 threes per game on 7.4 attempts, matching this line of 3+ 3PM in four of those five outings.
The caveat here is that the Magic are the league’s best team at taking away the three-pointer, allowing the fewest makes from beyond the arc and second-fewest attempts. That’s why there’s some risk involved here, but Donovan Mitchell and James Harden should keep the defense busy. When the coverage collapses, Tyson is exactly the kind of player who benefits and can knock down open attempts at a reliable rate. Given his recent form, I like him to connect on at least three of them tonight.
Paolo Banchero over 23.5 points (-121)
With something of a riskier pick in the above section, we’ll take the layup here with this next prop bet. Paolo Banchero is something of a curious case, regressing somewhat to 22.2 PPG after a career-best season of 25.9 PPG last year. He’s never been the most efficient player, instead relying on his volume to get his numbers and lacking much of a perimeter game to make him a more complete talent.
While the trey ball hasn’t come around, his field goal percentage has ticked upward over a recent hot streak. Since the All-Star break, Banchero has looked more like the version of himself we saw last season with 26.2 PPG across 10 contests, shooting 50.8% overall. That’s a significant increase compared to his season-long average, and it’s partially spurred by a jump of over four percentage points from the field and a few additional made free throws. Banchero has recorded over 23.5 points in seven of those 10 contests as well.
He’ll remain the featured scorer and offensive engine tonight against the Cavaliers. Franz Wagner is still sidelined and Anthony Black is now missing time, leaving this rotation without two of its best players. Dealing with Evan Mobley won’t be easy for Banchero, but the Magic star will surely get enough volume to propel him over this line again.
