What happened to Tyrese Maxey? Live injury updates for 76ers vs. Hawks on Saturday 3/7/26

Tyrese Maxey exited Saturday’s game between the Philadelphia 76ers and Atlanta Hawks late in the fourth quarter. He suffered a hand injury on an inbound play and did not return to the contest.

The game was essentially over with the Hawks having possession up seven with 25 seconds remaining.

It’s currently unknown how severe the injury is and if the All-Star guard will miss any time this season. Philadelphia only has 19 games left in the regular season and is currently projected to participate in the Play-In Tournament.

Maxey had 31 points, five assists, four steals and two rebounds in 38 minutes today.
