An injury-depleted Magic team might have suffered another blow this afternoon. During the first quarter of Saturday’s game vs. the Timberwolves, Orlando guard Anthony Black suffered a lower back injury. He was immediately taken to the team’s locker room.
Black is questionable to return.
Prior to leaving the game, Black had tallied one steal and one rebound over two minutes of play.
Through 59 appearances this season, Black is averaging 15.5 points, 3.9 rebounds and 3.9 assists per game. He’s shooting 45% from the field and 34% from three-point range. On defense, the 22-year-old has recorded 1.4 steals and 0.7 blocks. The Magic are already shorthanded, currently missing forwards Franz Wagner (ankle) and Jonathan Isaac (knee).
