What happened to Nikola Vucevic? Live injury updates for Celtics vs. Mavericks on Friday 3/6/26

UPDATE: Vucevic will undergo a procedure on his ring finger tomorrow and will be miss around one month, per ESPN’s Shams Charania.

In the first quarter of Friday’s game against the Dallas Mavericks, center Nikola Vucevic suffered a broken finger. He is out for the remainder of the game.

Prior to exiting, Vucevic recorded no stats in two minutes of action.

It’s unclear how long this could sideline him for. For a shooting big, a broken finger on your shooting hand is a tough proposition. With the playoffs around the corner, we’ll see how this affects his season outlook.
