The NBA starts the weekend with seven games on the slate. In one of the best Western Conference contests on the board, the red-hot San Antonio Spurs host the LA Clippers at Frost Bank Center. With both teams chasing potential playoff spots, each side has some compelling storylines — along with strong player prop bets to build around.
The Spurs are 6.5-point home favorites on DraftKings Sportsbook, with the game total set at 220.5 points.
The Spurs have gone an impressive 13-1 since the beginning of February and are just three games behind the Thunder for the top spot in the West. They’re 22-6 at home and establishing themselves as a legitimate contender for an NBA Finals run. The Clippers aren’t nearly as formidable, but they do look destined for a spot in the play-in tournament, sitting ninth in the conference. Depending on how the seeding falls, the Clippers could end up facing the Spurs in the first round of the playoffs.
Looking at the injury report, Darius Garland, John Collins, and Yanic Konan Niederhauser are out for LA, while Bogdan Bogdanovic is listed as questionable. For San Antonio, playing the second night of a back-to-back, Harrison Barnes is out, and Julian Champagnie is questionable.
Clippers vs. Spurs Best Prop Bets
Dylan Harper Over 15.5 Points + Assists (-128)
Dylan Harper only had eight combined points and assists in Thursday’s big win over the Pistons, as De’Aaron Fox and Stephon Castle each had strong games alongside a signature performance from Victor Wembanyama.
But before that contest, the second overall pick in the 2025 draft had been regularly contributing off the bench for the Spurs. He cleared 15.5 points-plus-assists in 11 of his previous 14 games dating back to the end of January.
Harper had eclipsed this prop in eight of his last 10 games, averaging 17.2 P+A during that span. He had 22 points on Tuesday against the 76ers, and could garner an expanded role Friday night if Champagnie is sidelined.

Kris Dunn Over 4.5 Assists (-129)
Kris Dunn was doing a solid job running the Clippers’ offense after James Harden got traded to the Cavaliers, and he should return to that expanded role with Garland sidelined.
Before recording just three assists on Wednesday, Dunn dished out at least five dimes in 10 of 12 games.
Dunn’s mostly on the floor for defensive purposes, but he’s an effective playmaker when needed. Without Garland, he should be more involved on the offensive end and reach this modest assist line.
Kawhi Leonard Under 27.5 Points (-119)
The Clippers are taking on the Grizzlies in Memphis on Saturday and then returning home for a big game against the Knicks on Monday. They’re already resting Garland Friday — so if things get a little lopsided, Kawhi Leonard could see a limited workload as well.
Leonard has played eight games in San Antonio since leaving the Spurs. In those returns, he has only cleared 27.5 points once.
He’s averaging 27.9 points per game this season and has fallen under this prop line in five of his last eight games. While he’s coming off a 29-point performance against the Pacers, he will be in a much tougher matchup Friday without Garland and facing a stout San Antonio defense.
