BREAK IT DOWN:

(stats taken from DraftKings Sportsbook’s Stats Hub)

Bam Adebayo First Point Scorer (+366): While I would never think of Bam Adebayo as a score-first big man, there is a solid track record of the veteran being involved on offense early in Heat games. In fact, among the players taking the court on Thursday night’s slate, only Anthony Edwards (13) has more first baskets scored this season than Adebayo (11). The three-time All-Star has also taken the first shot in 29.6% of his 52 starts in 2025-26, which only trails Luka Doncic amongst that same grouping of players. This particular market is one of randomness and fluctuation, but the trends do point in Adebayo’s direction. It’s also not like the Nets’ defense is much of a deterrent, as Brooklyn owns the league’s worst defensive rating over its past five contests (128.7). Might as well take a shot on a big hit at these odds.

Desmond Bane 3+ Three-Pointers Made (+119): We all remember that Bane got off to a rough start in his Orlando tenure, but things have turned around drastically for the former 30th-overall pick. First and foremost, Bane has cleared this prop in six of his last eight starts heading into Thursday’s matchup with the tanking Mavericks. Secondly, Bane is shooting 45.0% (68-for-151) on his attempts from beyond the arc since the beginning of 2026, so his success isn’t solely about volume. For all its faults, Dallas does hold opponents to a league-low 34.2% three-point shooting rate, but with how locked in Bane is at the moment, I wouldn’t put too much stock into that metric. Plus, in recent weeks, the Mavericks have been an uptempo squad with a horrendous defensive rating. That probably means more.

Cade Cunningham 3+ Three -Pointers Made (+146): This is a really interesting prop in terms of its popularity. Don’t get me wrong, Cade Cunningham is going to rightfully be on MVP ballots this season, though it’s not as if his three-point shot has ever been the defining characteristic of his game. We also just saw the former first-overall pick square-off with the Spurs, and Cunningham struggled to hit five total field goals in his 26 shot attempts — that’s five field goals from anywhere on the floor. For 2025-26 as a whole, Cunningham’s also only matched or exceeded this prop in 16 of his 54 starts. I’m not saying you shouldn’t bet this, yet I’d need slightly longer odds for it to have any allure.

3-Pick Parlay

Taking three of the most-bet player props individually is always an option, but why not roll them into a parlay and get in on all the action at once? It’s a fun way to tie everything together — feel free to tag along.
