Jake Knapp Injury Update: Withdraws from Arnold Palmer Invitational

Knapp has had an outstanding season, but the 31-year-old has withdrawn from the Arnold Palmer Invitational ahead of his first round tee time on Thursday for a reason that has yet to be announced. Haotong Li will replace Knapp.

Knapp has been one of the PGA TOUR’s best players this season, finishing no worse than T11th in five starts and ranking third in total strokes gained behind only Scottie Scheffler and Rory McIlroy. Knapp has shot under par in 18 of his 20 rounds this season and he was a very popular pick for DFS this week, being rostered by 21.6% of the field in the $1 Million Sand Trap on DraftKings.

Knapp is scheduled to compete at THE PLAYERS Championship next week at TPC Sawgrass, which features a season-high $25 million purse, but it remains to be seen if he will be able to compete at the anticipated event.
