There will be six games on the slate tonight, tipping off in MSG with the Thunder visiting the Knicks at 7 PM EST and concluding with the Pacers visiting the Clippers at 10:30 PM EST.

This article will look at my top Pick6 plays for tonight’s slate. We simply choose whether a player will record more or less of the set statistic. Here are my favorite plays for tonight’s action.
Jalen Brunson Less Than 24.5 Points
New York is on the second night of a back-to-back with travel, and OKC’s entire identity is built around turning opponent possessions into uncomfortable, late-clock decisions. The Thunder can throw length at the ball while parking a rim protector behind this, which is significant against a guard such as Brunson who lives on paint touches and short pull-ups. OKC will force Brunson into more playmaking than shot-hunting tonight with their league-best defense.
Brunson also hasn’t been at his absolute best lately, averaging only 22.7 PPG over his last six games while shooting 44.8% from the floor. I’m expecting this trend to continue tonight against a monstrous defensive lineup.
Tyrese Maxey More Than 32.5 Points
Tyrese Maxey only hit for 21 points tonight in an expected loss against the Spurs. A higher scoring count was anticipated but the Spurs’ defense is legit, and second year standout Stephon Castle is pesky for 48 minutes. Tonight Maxey will get a chance to run it back against a much, much softer defense. In fact, Utah is the worst defense in the league, and without Joel Embiid, Paul George, and presumably VJ Edgecombe, the scoring load will once again fall on Maxey’s shoulders.
Utah plays fast and has no rim protectors at the moment. Maxey will have his choice in deciding how he wants to carve up the Jazz.
Karl-Anthony Towns More Than 12.5 Rebounds
The Knicks’ back-to-back rotation helps here. Mitchell Robinson is expected to sit tonight, which pushes more center minutes to Towns and raises his rebounding ceiling on both ends.
The baseline is already strong, with Towns living around elite rebound territory recently, and New York having consistently won the glass as a team. Add in the possibility of extra missed shots if OKC is again without Shai, and Towns has a real path to clearing this line. Towns has pulled down double digit rebounds in four out of his last five games, with as high as 14.

When the games go live, use the My Picks tab to follow your picks in real time to track how your players are performing against their projections and how they stack up against other users.
Compete for Prizes
