This bet can be found under the Spread/Total tab. Man City are on a roll at the moment. They have won six straight games in all competitions and are unbeaten in their last nine games. A big reason for their recent success is their improved defense, which can largely be attributed to the addition of Marc Guéhi in the January transfer window. The Citizens have kept a clean sheet in three of their last four games in all comps.
On the flip side, there’s Nottingham Forest. The addition of Vítor Pereira in the dugout hasn’t created much of a new manager bounce, as they’ve lost three straight games in all competitions. The biggest issue they’ve had this season is scoring goals. Forest have only netted 26 times so far in the league this season, with only bottom-of-the-league Wolves scoring fewer. I think they will have trouble finding the back of the net against a City team who quietly have the second-best defense in the Premier League so far.
City have won four of the last five games between these teams in all competitions, losing one. In three of those games, the Citizens kept a clean sheet. They’ve managed to score at least two goals in each of their last seven home games in all competitions.
Forest are fighting for their lives against relegation right now, so there’s a chance they keep this close. However, City should have too much quality for them and ultimately collect the three points.
