This bet can be found under the “Match Parlays” tab. Despite Wolves putting up some decent performances at home in recent weeks, I am backing the Reds to win this one.
Since their 2-1 loss against Man City in early February, Liverpool have won four straight games in all competitions. That loss seems to have given the Reds a spark, who are very much in the mix for the top five positions in the league and a place in next season’s Champions League.
Even though Wolves are coming off an impressive home win against Aston Villa, they still have the worst home record in the league and have only won two games all season. At this point, they are just playing for pride as the Championship likely awaits them next season. Only two teams have conceded more goals than Wolves so far this season.
The Reds haven’t been great on the road this season, winning six of their 14 away games. Despite their struggles, only five Premier League teams have collected more away points.
Liverpool have dominated this fixture in recent seasons, winning each of the last six games in all competitions between these teams. In four of those games, three or more goals were scored. They last lost to Wolves back in 2023. In the reverse fixture earlier this season, the Reds were 2-1 victors.
Although I expect a closely contested match, Liverpool should find a way to win this one and extend their win streak to five straight games.
