We’ve got a top-half battle to square on Tuesday. Bournemouth and Brentford have a shot at playing European football next season. But that requires stacking a lot of points down the stretch. Both of these clubs will be gunning hard for all three points, and we’re going to get a banger of a match.

Bournemouth is a slim +155 ML favorite on DraftKings Sportsbook. A Brentford upset is priced at +165 odds, with the draw at +260. The over/under for this game is set at 2.5 goals. Let’s get into a prediction and a pick for this matchup.

Bournemouth vs. Brentford prediction, pick

Both these teams come in on good form. Combined, they have only one loss in their last 10 matches. Bournemouth have not lost in eight Premier League matches. Brentford are still trying to slow their heart rate after their match against Burnley over the weekend.

Three points are three points, no matter how you get them. But Brentford will be hoping for a less than chaotic result on Tuesday.

Attacking power is the meta here. These clubs are tied for sixth in total goals scored on the season, and have had suspect defenses all season long. For Brentford, that starts with players like Kevin Schade, Dango Ouattara and Mikkel Damsgaard, who scored the winning goal against Burnley. Their job is primarily to feed Igor Thiago, who scored his 18th goal of the season over the weekend.

Bournemouth moves through Marcus Tavernier, who has nine goal involvements on the season. Rayan, 19 years old, has been an electric addition on the wing, and will provide lots of chance creation for fellow teenager Eli Junior Kroupi, who has scored eight times this season. It’s an exciting attacking group that, given their youth, could carry this squad for many years to come.

These defenses have their work cut out for them. Who can pull off enough stops to take control of this match and let their offense dictate the flow?

My money is on Bournemouth. Adding Rayan to their young attacking core has been a huge shot in the arm. He’s a legitimate go-beat-your-man winger who can create something out of nothing, and that could be the difference here. I like their value to pull away with all three points

Best Bet: Bournemouth Moneyline (+165)
